Checking into Residence at Trent - Important Instructions

All students are to go to thier assigned college at the time indicated on the chart below.

• Suggested arrival times designated by last name are listed below. These times are only a suggestion so if you need to come earlier or later than your scheduled time you do not need to make special arrangements. Check in will be open from 8:30 until 3:00 pm. Please pack your patience and be ready to have fun and meet new people. 

 A-H      8:30am – 10:30am
   I-Q      10:30am – 12:30pm
R-Z      1:00pm – 3:00pm
International students 3:00pm – 4:00pm

 

Changing to Another College or Room

• On a case by case basis after move into residence, there are occasionally permitted room changes. However, such changes will be extremely difficult to allow due to the number of students already in residence.  Applications for a room change are available from the College Residence Life Coordinator and must meet their approval.

Withdrawing During the Academic Year

• Please read your Residence Agreement carefully. If you are considering vacating your residence room, first discuss this possibility with the Housing Office to understand the financial penalty. If you vacate residence without permission from the Housing Office, you may not receive a refund.

April Move Out

• Students are required to move out of residence 24 hours after their last exam and no later than TBA.
  

• Students must read the Move Out Preparations list carefully and be sure to complete all tasks prior to vacating residence. Doing so will help avoid extra fees.
