Professor Alan Brunger

Research and Teaching Interests:

Alan Brunger's research interests lie within the field of historical geography, particularly the settlement of new areas by groups of immigrants from specific national or ethnic origins. Current research includes comparative settlement of British groups in South Africa and Ontario, as well as the landscape of heritage of these and other cultural activities. Professor Brunger instructs courses in historical geography and settlement geography.
