Eligibility & Details

Any Canadian student entering their first year at Trent University with a final admission average of 80% or higher may apply for a Trent University Prestigious Scholarship.  To qualify for a scholarship, students must be enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program.

A student may only receive 1 scholarship.  For example, if you received an offer for a National Entrance Scholarship, and you have been selected for a Prestigious Scholarship, the National Entrance Scholarship will be replaced by the higher value Prestigious Scholarship.

Prestigious Scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years of undergraduate study, provided the student maintains a minimum average of 80% or higher in 5.0 Trent credits during the previous academic year.  An application is not required for renewal.  Scholarship renewal notices are emailed in July/August and are sent to Trent University student email accounts through myTrent
