Scholarship & Entrance Bursary fee payment information

No late fees will be charged for scholarship and entrance bursary payments.

New Entrance Bursary recipients:

Subtract the amount of your entrance bursary from your total fees owing and pay the balance.

Entrance bursary recipients must pick up the first OSAP installment and sign the attached Confirmation of Enrollment by September 30 to receive the bursary. The bursary will be applied to your student account in early October; no late fees will apply.

Scholarship recipients:

Subtract the amount of your scholarship from your total fees owing and pay the balance.

You must be registered in five full Trent University credits as of November 30 to receive your scholarship. Your scholarship will be applied against your account in early December; no late fees will be charged.

New Scholarship recipients:

The amount of your scholarship was in your offer letter. If your grades did not change, you will receive the amount as a credit against your student account. You may also have received a follow-up email.

Free Tuition values:

The free tuition offer is the amount of the tuition only. It does not cover any ancillary fees.

Free tuition applies to Canadian high school students who enter Trent this year with an average of 90% or above, and to students who renew their existing full tuition scholarship with an average of 90, or above, in five Trent University credits.

If you start this fall 2011 = $5448

If you started in 2010 = $5422

If you started in 2009 = $5396

Standard values, renewing with 80% average:

If you received free tuition last year and you renew with an 80% average you will receive:

$2500 if you entered Trent with a 90% average

$3,000 if you entered Trent with a 95% average
