Dear Jack:

Just a note to thank you for a good time the other evening. 'A jolly time was had by all.' I went over the CPR script so far, and find that I was close to my estimate, that the thing is about half finished – more than 500 lines. One never knows, of course, what its extent will be when finally finished. There is a hell of a lot of ground to cover – in more senses than one.
