Dear Ed:

Just a line to tell you that your series was a most marked success. Vi and I agree that it was the best since the Foundation started. It was a compliment to your audience – to come with papers so splendidly prepared and so (thank heaven) so articulate in delivery.

Several High School English heads were enthusiastic. They admired the clean structures.

And fellows like Bissell, Knox & McLuhan were strong for it. Yes, McL has developed. I am glad of that for St Mike's is pretty close to Vic physically and sympathetically.

Vi is improving somewhat. She sends her love to Peggy, you and family.
