Dearest Vi:

Just arrived and found the Chateau had my name and I expect to get a room by 11 a.m. There isn't such a crowd after all, at least the line up wasn't so great as I thought. Still the congestion must be considerable as the Chateau is filled.

I met Mowat of the Palestinian Committee for breakfast.

I am sending this air mail to ensure its getting to Toronto by Saturday.

It is 9 o'clock now and I have to go to the barber's in default of a room.

Much love,

At Ottawa for the annual meeting of the CAA. (See the letter to Deacon, 6 May 1948).

Chateau Laurier.

Herbert Mowat, Executive Director of the Canadian Palestine Committee.
