Dearest Cayke:

Here's a card for you dearie. I thought it best to enclose it in another envelope to avoid misdirection.

I have been up nearly all day answering correspondence. Soon I shall be kicking over the traces. I have duly warned mother to keep out of my way because I feel I have to kick for a steer – just a feeling however at present.

Much care to you and expect a good sized distribution by the end of the week. The anthologies are asking for stuff and John Gray is telling me that the payments are adequate.

Happy New Year
Father
