My dear Ralph:
It is always a pleasure to hear from you. I have ever been grateful for your interest in my work. Do you come across A.J.M. Smith and E.K. Brown in your perambulations?
When Cook comes or writes he will get a favourable response.
I am working now at a poem on the Navy the great experience of the Skeena in a life and death struggle on the Atlantic in 1941. The poem is semi-symbolic dealing with the idea of the echo in locating objects man has always been calling out to the rocks and getting his own voice back that sort of idea.
What are you doing yourself? If you ever come up this way let me know ahead of time.
