Dear Pelham:

Can you keep Saturday night of January 26 for dinner and aftermath at the York Club. The same gang nearly, all of our English staff plus Peggy Ray. I announced the news today and all are jubilant.

6.30 for a drink, then dinner at 7. Following that will you read poetry to us as you did last time till midnight, and whatever there is left of the ocean brine at 12 o'clock will be swept into your cove as before.

If I can make arrangements for a 5 p.m. lecture on Friday I shall do so, but Robins says it is doubtful that the room can be obtained. The S.C.M. is monopolizing the place. I shall be in the States on Thursday and Friday the 24th & 25th giving lectures but I expect to be back Saturday morning & ripe for the evening show.

As ever
Ned.
