Dear Lorne:

I am much interested in a piece of work done by Ellsworth Flavelle which he submitted to Ryersons some time ago. Taylor [...], Dick (Judge) Hosking and I thought it was a tract for the times written by a layman for laymen – an unprofessional job done by a genuine amateur in a way that would appeal to many young people today.

Would you let me know if a decision has been made on the MS, or what chances it would have?

Yours as ever
Ned Pratt
