Dear Pelham:

Your visit was wonderful. It did us all a world of good. All the chaps are talking about it and your marvellous, inimitable performance at night. I am sure the junior members of your audience enjoyed it and benefited from it as much as the more senior attendants. We must try to do this more often.

If only you could come back to settle among us permanently, dear boy! What that would mean to me especially I cannot express.

Love to Dona and Jane.
