Dear Robertson:

You have always been a grand friend of mine. I appreciate deeply your Editorial. I am sending it on to Macmillans.

We certainly miss your pen in the Toronto Saturday Night on the Book page. Though I am a grand admirer of B.K. and his front page, I regret the declension of the Book stuff in the last few years. Wise cracks are being substituted for genuine analysis and appraisal. This particular feeling is quite widespread.

When you come in to this city for more than a few hours I should dearly like to see you.

Always with my best wishes,
Ned Pratt
