Dear Mr Abbott:

Thanks for your letter. I shall be leaving Toronto on Monday, May 28, by the C.P.R. The train leaves at 1:20 p.m. and arrives at Buffalo, 4:40, at the Central Terminal. You may identify me by a few simple (F.B.I.) marks. Five feet ten inches in height, a very old hat, weight 160 pounds, most of it where it shouldn't be, almost bald, clean-shaven (I trust), and with a look of expectancy on my face. If these marks should fail, I shall ring up your Library. I have your address.

Yours very cordially,
E.J. Pratt
