Dearest Cayke:

I am enclosing a draft for $80.00 divided equally between mother and myself. Mother just got her cheque for the Victoria essays and I got paid for my lecture at Oshawa two days ago.

I hope you do not have any trouble cashing it. You ought to be able to do it at Columbia with identification. Could it not just be deposited to your account by the University cashier.

There's more to come.

Connie said she had a good time & that you were feeling fine.

Lovingly
Father
