Dear Cakie:

I have just finished a very brief and tenuous synopsis of Environment and Nation which is a tremendously long book and very difficult to read. If you get hold of it look up a few pages as indicated by the notations. I did not know whether or not you had the whole book or some sections. The survey is obviously thin but if only 1000 words are required it might do.

Today Floss came up to dinner and brought us all the New York news. Yesterday I had another long letter from Wells. Very warm and enthusiastic. He is going to get in touch with you.

I shall be writing you again soon. We are all fine.

Dad
