Vi dear:

Will you take a run down to the office and find Great Modern British Plays, a red or brown covered book containing Maugham's 'Circle' and Jones' Liars and A Bill of Divorcement. I think it is on the shelf second or third from the top above the big arm chair in the middle. I may have brought it home intending to take it to Kingston. It is a smooth red binding and has notes in it. Also I have Candida at the office or at home. Would you send it too. It is not quite so necessary if you cannot find it, but the other is important.

Send me also a dozen 4 cent stamps as it is difficult for me to go down town here.

I am remitting a fiver for you.

Lovingly
Ned
