Dear W.E.

I should be delighted to publish your translation of Sylvestre's essay. We are bringing out the fall issue of the C.P.M. this week; hence your article will have to wait till the Christmas number. There is, however, the possibility that our magazine will fold up for lack of funds, but we are husbanding every dollar to make a Christmas issue a reality. I do not see how we can go on indefinitely on such an impoverished budget.

Glad to hear from you again
Cordially
