Tuesday Evening [23 Sept. 1941]

My dear W.E.

A.J.M. Smith is here in Toronto working on a Canadian Anthology under the Guggenheim Foundation. Could you come up to this city next Saturday, 27th, and spend the evening with me and a few of the boys discussing literary matters with Smith. I can put you up at Burwash Hall Guest Room for the night. Do come & renew old times.
