Dear Mrs MacLeod:
I am indeed honoured in receiving an invitation to speak before your Club in November. The particular description of your association as 'Maritime' gives a special thrill.
I have been looking over my dates and I find that Wednesday, November 12th suits me. If that is convenient to you I would leave Tuesday night by train.
Would the fee of $35.00 and transportation be unreasonable?
May I express my own personal appreciation of the fine poetry you have been writing in the last two or three years.
