Aug. 31, 1940

My dear Leo:

It was good to hear from you. Thanks for the subscription. Benson will acknowledge receipt officially.

Your 'Spring' is appearing in this issue. I wish you could get a few months holidays to devote your time to writing. Your stuff is grand. It appeals to me grippingly. I hope you will send on anything as the mood hits you.

No, I couldn't get to the Convention. I hear it was a great success.

Next time you come this way, will you let me know, so I can get the gang together.

Ned Pratt

P.S. I'll acknowledge the Year Book.
