Darling Vi:

Your letters were wonderful. I have just come home from Vic. – why do you imagine? Well for two reasons – first to find out how you were getting along and then of course to start searching for dandelions and failing that delectable herb, to mow the lawn – my first effort this Spring of a household nature.

Macmillans have told me that I must get Brébeuf in by early June – so I have to do some tall revision and expansion between now and then. The R.S. next week will take up some time but immediately on return I must plunge into it. Besides eighty odd First Year papers will be on my desk in a few days.

Don't have one cent left when you enter 21 Cortleigh for New York should be seen to the full.
