It was just like you to take time off to write me that kind note. You are one of the Elect of God's Servants. You have been so kind to me over the years in many many respects.

I felt the spiritual pressure of your hands at my (Canonization?).


His installation (at the Spring Convocation of Victoria College) as 'Senior Professor of English Literature,' an honorific title bestowed on him in lieu of his appointment as Department Head in succession to Pelham Edgar who retired in 1938.
