My Dear Lorne,

Your beautiful little brochure came in last night's mail, and Vi and I spent a delightful half-hour reading it. It is in your old-time vein, restrained, yet with the under-glow. For a Christmas gift I know of nothing that can touch it, – quite unique. Is it up for sale too? It should be widely distributed for there is no link of greater enduring value welding the two races than the artistic one. You have developed a style that goes right to the bone.

Most sincerely
