My dear Lorne,
Who wrote the Blake article in the New O on Oct. 26th? I want to express my appreciation of it. One of those sentences I must have read a dozen times for its symbolic and imaginative beauty: 'He would arouse her in the night as he worked feverishly at an engraving, just to have her near him as he sought to constrain the copperplate to yield up his warm dream of brooding celestial figures.'
I think that is a great sentence.
The whole article is penetrating and Blakean itself in its imagery.
