Mr Austin Bothwell
Dear Mr Bothwell,
Thank you ever so much for that review in the Saskatoon paper and the 'Saskatchewan Teacher.' I very warmly appreciate it, and you. It could not have been done better. You caught the spirit I intended to convey, and one of the greatest pleasures I have is to feel that I have won the appreciation of men of your type, with your culture & scholarship. I only wish I could see more of you. Hughie Eayrs talks about you incessantly I feel that you have the 'Stag spirit.'
I admired your editorials in the 'Teacher.' You seem to be the life of the literary world out West. If you ever come to Toronto, would you look me up?
