Dear Bill,

The one thing I would like to have done is trimming of the lower branches of the trees in front of the living room windows so that a good vision of the lake may be attained. Phelps knows what I need there. You will find saw & tools on the premises. A little weeding whenever necessary with the hoe. But I will be very much displeased if you go and buy anything for the house or premises. We have enough, absolutely. Mind now. Frankly, I mean it. Nothing!

You will find a new comfortable hammock on the table in the big room. Hang it between the two birches in front of cottage.

Good luck,
Ned
