Bobcaygeon, Ont
August 3/1923

My dear Bill,

Enclosed is Creighton's answer to my note which carries all the explanation.

Vi and the baby went to Toronto today en route to some point in Lake L[...]ne. They are going to be almost a week, at least till next Friday. So I am all alone and would welcome a visit from your old Highness if you could squeeze a holiday out of the week.

The Phelpses are at Markham for a few days. The mother very low.

That selection from 'Life' was a howler.

Best regards to Mrs D & William Hubert.

Yours
Ned.

note
On 3 August, W.A. Creighton of the Christian Guardian had written to Pratt at Bobcaygeon agreeing that he should review Deacon's new book, Pens and Pirates [Toronto: Ryerson 1923].

Possibly Pratt's friend William Hubert Greaves.
