Research Opportunities (Volunteer or Practicum):

Interested students seeking research supervision (on a volunteer basis or for a research practicum) should contact the Lab Coordinator, Amy Peverley (amypeverley@trentu.ca), for more information and to set up an interview.  The following should also be forwarded to both Amy's and Dr. Im-Bolter's attention:

1) Information sheet (pdf)(word)

2) An up-to-date CV or resume

3) Transcripts (unofficial are acceptable)

 

NOTE that Research Practica:

Are designed to allow students in the 3rd (3801H, 3802H) or 4th (4801H, 4802H) year of their psychology honours degree program to pursue research activities under faculty supervision.  Prerequisites include:

a) 75% or higher in:

  • 2018H and 2019H (or 2016H and 2017H) for a 3000 level practicum
  • 3015 for a 4000 level practicum,

b) at least one other Psychology credit at the 3000- or 4000-level,

c) Honours standing,

d) One of PSYC 2400H; 2450H, 2550H (or 2500); 3110H; 3430H, 3450H, 3500H; 3530H, or 3580H, and

e) permission of the department.
