Notes:
- All students require a first year course in Psychology.
- The Primary-Junior teaching division strongly recommends a well rounded course selection (ie. a university course in each of English, Mathematics, Science, the Arts and Geography or Canadian History). Students can declare a major in any of the Trent disciplines and use their course electives to get their Primary-Junior teaching division requirements.
- The Intermediate-Senior teaching division requires that students declare a first and second teaching subject. Teaching subjects available in this program are: Biology, Chemistry, Computing Science, Dramatic Arts, English, French, Geography, History, Mathematics, Native Studies, Physics and Visual Arts. Students can declare a joint major from their Trent degree in their two teaching subjects or a major and minor.
- Students academic progress is reviewed at the end of each year.
- Students must graduate with an Honours degree (Arts or Science) including a minimum B average on their best ten full-year university courses.
- Students are expected to complete both degrees within six years of their first enrolment at Trent (most students complete the Program in five years).
- Students are required to pay Queen's tuition fees for their Queen's Education courses. These are not covered by Trent University Arts & Science tuition fees.
