Just For Parents

"The essence of our effort to see that every student has a chance must be to assure each an equal opportunity... - to realize whatever unique potential of body, mind and spirit he or she possesses."

John Fischer, Dean
Teachers College, Columbia University

Parent Path

The Parent Path is designed for parents of students with disabilities to visit during the term to help walk them through the first year of university.  Things will be very different from high school so it will be all new for both you and your student.  The students have support at Trent available to walk them through.  This forum is designed especially for parents to know what the normal stressors are for all university students and what stressors seem to affect students with disabilities in particular.  Each week brings something new at Trent so the Path will attempt to keep you in the loop.
