For Chairs

Under the university’s Undergraduate Academic Integrity Policy, the Chair/Director is the first-level decision-maker in cases where there is no prior offence on record. A lot of the information you need to know is covered in these FAQs but it is important to read the full text of the policy. Note that you need to treat the decision-making process as confidentially as possible recognizing that absolute confidentiality cannot be assured. Decision-making should happen in a timely manner, usually within a few weeks.
