overloads

Course overload is defined as enrolment in 5.5 credits in the Fall/Winter session or enrolment in 3 credits (or equivalent) during the Fall term or the Winter term.  Students are in overload if they enrol in 2.5 credits for the entire summer session, or 1.5 credits during any of the summer terms.

Part-time students are not eligible to overload.

Students who wish to request an overload should review the criteria below.  If the student meets the criteria, he/she should submit a completed Overload Request Form to the Office of the Registrar.  If the student does not meet the criteria or wishes to exceed the limits listed above, he/she has the option of submitting a petition for exemption to the overload regulations.
