The Centres of Knowledge - $40M

A New Way to Talk About Trent

The Centres of Knowledge at Trent University provide an exciting new way to talk about the exceptional expertise, facilities and strengths of this institution. They are a lens through which the Trent story is celebrated. Being “virtual” in nature, the Centres of Knowledge recognize the University’s intellectual capital, our world-class faculty, as the engine that drives innovation and student success. Each Centre provides targeted opportunities for philanthropic investment tied directly to Trent’s academic and research plans.

Academic activity of the Centres is supported by:

  • Globally-recognized research
  • Exceptional teaching
  • Engaged students and alumni
  • State-of-the-art facilities
  • Outstanding equipment and library resources
  • Energetic collaborations with the community
  • An internationalized campus
