inorganic and materials chemistry, sol-gel, nanoparticles,
hybrid materials, controlled release Activities:
design, development and characterization of silane derived, sol-gel
materials for a wide variety of applications. Characterization techniques
include infrared and micro-probe Raman spectroscopy as well as UV-vis,
synchrotron x-ray analysis, contact angle, AFM, XPS and electron microscopy.
