  • Will be housed within the Department of Philosophy and celebrates Trent’s commitment to a liberal arts and sciences education and its mission to inspire critical thinking
  • Chairholder will explore ethics from multiple perspectives through his or her leadership in teaching, research and community engagement
  • National or international leader in ethics will be recruited as the inaugural Chairholder
  • It is anticipated the Chairholder will be announced in the Spring of 2010 and will join Trent’s faculty in July 2010
