Camp Kirk

Camp Kirk is a small residential camp for children ages 6-13 who have Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other types of exceptionalities. We provide a nurturing, supportive and non-competitive environment with the goal of raising self-esteem and a sense of self worth in our campers. Camp Timberlane

Located in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands, Camp Timberlane is entering its 55th camping season. Camp Timberlane is a residential summer camp for children ages 7-16, with a dedicated, energetic staff of close to 200 people. We are looking for mature candidates who are passionate about working with children and overnight camping.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Canoe Tripping, Tennis, Sail, Ropes, Paddles, Culinary Arts, Certified Swim Instructors and Skate Park. We are also looking for male cabin counselors. Canoe Tripping applicants will have experience in leading trips, Bronze Life Savings certification, and a willingness to learn and adapt to Timberlane's Tripping philosophies. Camp Timberlane trips to Algonquin, Temagami, and Killarney Provincial Parks.

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT. Staff arrive to Timberlane on June 23rd for staff training and pre-camp, which runs until June 28th when the campers arrive. Camp ends August 17th, which is also the final day of employment. Staff will have one 24-hour day off per week, exclusive of pre-camp. Camp Wahanowin

Camp Wahanowin is currently seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, dedicated and caring university students to work during our Outdoor Education Centre (May and June) or main summer camp program (July and August). Camp Wahanowin, located only 90 minutes north of Toronto near Orillia, is a co-ed, residential camp that has been providing exciting experiences to campers and staff for over 50 years.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE Outdoor Education and Recreation Staff - May and June position Counsellors - Also seeking Spanish speaking counsellors Instructors (waterfront staff must have Bronze Cross or higher) Canoe Tripping, High Ropes Course, Creative Arts, Land Sports, Waterfront Support Staff - Dining Hall/Dish room, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Maintenance Health Centre - nurses - RN, 4th year graduating RN or RPN (salary to be discussed)

EMPLOYMENT DATES Staff are required to live on site for the duration of their employment. Staff receive one day off per week, exclusive of pre- camp and the closing week. Remuneration is paid upon completion of the contract, although advances may be requested in June and July. There are no living expenses while at camp, since in addition to a base salary staff receive room, board, charter bus transportation between Toronto and camp on contracted start and end dates, staff programming, internet café access and extensive perks and excursions. 4 Months: April 29th to Sept. 2nd Spring Only (2 months): April 29th to June 24th Spring Only (3 months): April 29th to July 27th Summer Only: June 25th to August 17th

Trent Summer Sports Camp

At TSSC, we are always looking for caring, energetic, and responsible individuals to join our team. We offer a challenging and rewarding summer experience in an active environment, a chance to experience personal growth, and a great opportunity to help our campers learn about themselves and their peers.
