Internet discussion group
for
botany teachers

plant-ed@net.bio.net

  • Do you teach a course on plants?
  • Do you sometimes have questions that you can't answer?
  • Do you sometimes need to know where to get something for a lab?
  • Do you ever need information about new labs that work?

Would you like to help others get answers to these and other questions?

Consider using Plant-ed -- a moderated BIOSCI newsgroup for plant biologists that teach courses on plants. You can subscribe and get all of the Plant-ed messages as emails, or you can use Plant-ed on the web or through a Newsreader. All messages are archived in a searchable database.

Testimonials:

"I find the plant-ed discussion group very valuable in my teaching. All sorts of interesting and timely ideas pop up." --Larry D. Nooden, University of Michigan

"I have already benefited greatly from the generosity of the plant-ed community: your detailed information and advice have smoothed my first years as an Assistant Prof
(THE plant scientist) at a small college."
--Elaine Radwanski, Carthage College

How to use Plant-ed:

Please read the group's Charter explaining the purpose of the Plant-ed. Past messages (since 1995) are archived allowing you to search or browse. You may also post messages to the group at that site.

Problems?

If you wish to unsubscribe and your address has been changed, you won't be able to do it from the new address. The easiest solution is to get your local email administrator to recreate the old account, unsubscribe from it, then eliminate the account.
