Valentine's "Bring a Friend" Week

Bring someone you love because you love their heart!

During the week of February 13-19, our members are encouraged to bring a friend or loved one to the AC to enjoy a free workout. Friends will qualify for free-month when they sign-up for a one-year membership and members who bring friends will be entered in a draw to win a fabulous gift basket!

As the only fitness and recreation facility in the growing north end of the City of Peterborough, the new Trent Community Sport & Recreation Centre (TCSRC) is a modern, multi-sport centre of excellence, designed to serve the wellness needs of students and all residents of the Peterborough Region.

Offering a full-spectrum indoor and outdoor fitness and recreation experience unparalleled anywhere in the region, the TCSRC provides vital wellness services to all members, including seniors and older adults, students, children, youth, persons with disabilities, and the local workforce.

About the Centre:

  • 76,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art home for sports, fitness and recreation located at Trent University
  • New state-of-the-art 22,000 sq. ft. addition, increasing overall space by 50%
  • Renewal of existing 54,000 sq. ft. PSB Wilson Athletics Complex
  • $16 million total investment for new construction and refurbishment, supported through student levies and the Sport, Recreation & Wellness for All Campaign
  • Supported by the City of Peterborough’s Vision 2010: A Strategic Plan for Recreation, Parks and Culture, which calls for the creation of at least three multipurpose recreation centres in the Peterborough region
