Register (all forms must go to the Office of the Registrar)

Please do not drop forms off at the AQ Office or School of Education.

 

 

AQ and ABQ Registration Form

Teaching Experience Form

 

- complete for Part 2 and Specialist courses

 

1) Print the Registration Form and fill it out (links to forms above)

2) Send registration form to the Office of the Registrar

3) Send Teaching Experience Form/transcript/FSL certificate if required. 

4) After registering & receiving your Trent Student number, pay for your course.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • You must be a member of good standing with OCT (# required)
  • New Ontario B.Ed. Graduates are eligible if OCT membership process started
  • Teaching experience forms and transcripts/certificates may be submitted later, provided registrants are certain they meet all prerequisite requirements.
  • YOU ARE OFFICIALLY REGISTERED WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR FORM
  • Payment is required before the start date of the course
  • Current Trent Consecutive BEd teacher candidates are eligible to take FSL Part 1

If prerequisites are not fulfilled, candidates will not be recommended to OCT even if they have successfully completed an AQ course. It is a candidate's responsibility to ensure all prerequisites are met before completion of the course in order for recommendations to be forwarded to OCT.

Note: Courses have a minimum enrolment requirement to be met and applicants will be advised if courses cannot be offered in this term and fees paid will be fully refunded.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Register Online - NEW beginning March 10th!

Trent University has moved to online registration. Registering online requires payment by credit card. If you cannot pay by credit card, please contact Trent's AQ Office for alternative registration options.

Requirements to Register

  • Member of good standing with Ontario College of Teachers - OCT# required when registering
  • New Ontario BEd graduates are eligible to register for spring courses provided they have an OCT application number and will be members of good standing on completion of the course they are registering in
  • Prerequisites met (see prerequisites for each course listed below) - Prerequisite forms, transcripts and certificates can be emailed or faxed to Trent's AQ Office after registering; provided registrants are certain they meet all the requirements. Please do not drop forms off at the AQ Office or the School of Education.

If a transcript is required and you are a Trent graduate, please email cte@trentu.ca after registering to indicate you just registered and that your Trent transcript needs to be reviewed for the prerequisite requirements.
