Profile
Roger Lohmann has conducted ethnographic and linguistic fieldwork in
Papua New Guinea. His studies of cultural dynamics concern motives
for supernatural beliefs, religious change, and how dreaming and the
imagination interact with sensory perception and influence systems of
knowledge. He joined Trent in 2003 after teaching at the University
of Toronto Mississauga, College of Wooster, Western Oregon
University, University of Wisconsin-Rock County, and University of
Wisconsin-Madison.
