Profile

Mr. Cassavoy studied Anthropology at Trent (B.A.) and at Texas A & M University (M.A.). Currently he is the Project Director and Archaeologist - Southampton Beach Shipwrecks Project, Southampton. His most recent publications include, Southampton Beach Shipwrecks Project: Project Report 2001, (ms), Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Recreation - Heritage and Libraries Branch (2002); “Ships in the Sand.” Published in Bruce County Historical Society Yearbook, Southampton, Ontario (2003); “The Gaming Pieces from the Glass Wreck at Serce Limani, Turkey.” Published as a chapter in An 11th Century Mediterranean Shipwreck, George F. Bass (ed.) (2003).
