- The same course may not simultaneously satisfy the requirements of both programmes in a joint-major degree.
- No Ancient History & Classics student in the university in the academic year 2007-2008 will be forced to delay graduation because the department's degree requirements were changed in that year.
- Applicable Calendar for degree completion. Students must normally satisfy the program requirements for the Calendar in effect at the time of their declaration of major to the programme or at the time of any subsequent change in major. It is the responsibility of students to consult the Calendar for the year the student most recently declared a major and to follow regulations as stated.
- Waivers and Equivalences
- For students who entered the university before 2008, any course prerequisite of AHCL 1000 is waived; any AHCL credit may substitute for it in counting courses for a degree.
- For students who entered the university before 2008, AHCL 100 or 201 is considered the equivalent of AHCL 2100
- For students who entered the university before 2008, AHCL 226 is considered the equivalent of AHCL 2200
- For students who entered the university before 2008, AHCL 150 is considered the equivalent of AHCL 2300
- For students graduating in 2009, AHCL 250 or 350 are considered the equivalent of AHCL 2300.
