Requests for Official Transcripts of Academic Record
The information on this form is collected under the authority of the Trent University Act, 1963 and is needed to collect information with respect to your requests for transcripts of your academic record. The information will be used to authorize release of your transcript to the recipients indicated, and to determine the delivery methods and payment. If you have any questions about the collection, use or disclosure of this information by the University, please contact the University Registrar, Office of the Registrar, Blackburn Hall, 705-748-1011.
A Transcript Includes:
  • Transfer credits and previous institutions attended (if appropriate);
  • Transfer Credits and Courses taken on a Letter of Permission includes, if applicable, Institution(s) attended, Course Title(s), and indication of "Pass" or "Fail";
  • Courses completed by session includes course number, title, credit, grade and/or mark;
  • Degree Conferred statement (when appropriate);
  • Degree Completed includes, if applicable, Degree(s) Completed, Major(s) and/or Minor(s) and Date(s) of Completion;
  • Scholarships, Awards and Prizes.
A Transcript Does Not Include:
  • Mid-term Marks
  • Averages
How do I order a Transcript?

Current Students
If you are currently attending Trent University as a Undergraduate or Graduate Student (Masters or Doctorate) please login to the myTrent Portal and order your transcript online by using the Transcript Request form available under Resources on the upper navigation bar. This option is available with Credit Card payment only, should you prefer to use Cash or Debit, please follow the below instructions as written for Alumni.
 
Alumni
If you are a past Trent student or Alumni and no longer have access to the myTrent portal, or you are a current student choosing to pay in person using cash or debit, please follow the below instructions.
  1. Download and print the Transcript Request Form. The transcript is in PDF format and requires Adobe reader.
  2. Choose the most appropriate payment method as per the list of options on this page.
  3. Send us the completed Transcript Request Form, with your payment or proof of payment, by one of the following methods:
    -In person: Come into Blackburn Hall and pay at the student accounts office and bring your completed form, stamped by Student Accounts, to the Office of the Registrar.
    -By mail: Include your cheque, money order or proof of payment in the envelope and sent it to:

    -By Fax: Fax the form and proof of payment to the Office of the Registrar, (705) 748-1629.
    -By Email: You may send a scan of the completed form and your proof of payment, in PDF format, to registrar@trentu.ca
  4. Transcripts may be ordered at any time. Requests received by twelve noon on Tuesday will be ready for pickup or mailing on Friday.
  5. To protect the privacy of our students, transcripts will ONLY be released for pickup by the student upon presentation of a valid student I.D.
  6. Transcript requests will be processed upon receipt of payment or proof of payment.
Payment Options:
  1. Credit Card payments can be made on the Student Accounts website.
  2. Cash, debit or credit card payments may be made in person at the Student Accounts Office in Blackburn Hall.
  3. The completed form may be attached to a Money Order made payable to "Trent University" and sent to the address noted above.
  4. Express Post charges apply on a PER TRANSCRIPT basis.
  5. Regarding Dishonoured Payments: There is a $40 fee for any payment which is returned/dishonoured. The University reserves the right to restrict students to a particular payment method to reduce the risk of returned payments.
