Verification of Enrolment
Please do not submit forms from an external institution.
External forms will be returned unprocessed.

The Office of the Registrar can provide an individualized Verification of Enrolment form to the student which fulfills the requirements for institutions requesting proof of enrolment (ie: CST, USC, Heritage, Bank forms, Canada Pension Plan, RESP’s, scholarship funds, bank loans, etc.)
This form can only be provided to students who are currently enroled in courses.
It is the responsibility of the student to forward both forms to the external institution.

How do I order a Verification of Enrolment Request Form?
This request MUST be made by the student unless a current signed "Release of Information" form is on record.
  1. Download and print the Verification of Enrolment Request Form. The form is in PDF format and requires Adobe reader.
  2. Choose the most appropriate payment method as per the list of options on this page.
  3. Send us the completed Verification of Enrolment Request Form, with your payment or proof of payment, by one of the following methods:

  4. -In person: Come into Blackburn Hall and pay at the student accounts office and bring your completed form, stamped by Student Accounts, to the Office of the Registrar.
    -By mail: Include your cheque, money order or proof of payment in the envelope and sent it to:

    -By Fax: Fax the form and proof of payment to the Office of the Registrar, (705) 748-1629.
    -By Email: You may send a scan of the completed form and your proof of payment, in PDF format to registrar@trentu.ca from your Trent University email account.
  5. Requests take a minimum of 10 business days to process.
  6. To protect the privacy of our students, enrolment forms will ONLY be released for pickup by the student upon presentation of a valid student I.D.
  7. Enrolment form requests will be processed upon receipt of payment or proof of payment.
Payment Options:
  1. Credit Card payments can be made on the Student Accounts website.
  2. Cash, debit or credit card payments may be made in person at the Student Accounts Office in Blackburn Hall.
  3. The completed form may be attached to a Money Order or cheque made payable to "Trent University" and sent to the address noted above. Please include student name, Trent ID # and Verification of Enrolment on the Money Order or cheque.
  4. Regarding Dishonoured Payments: There is a $40 fee for any payment which is returned/dishonoured. The University reserves the right to restrict students to a particular payment method to reduce the risk of returned payments.
