Trent Map Section Aerial Photography Collection

The Map Library collection includes over 24,000 aerial photographs. Our collection strengths are of the local Peterborough-Kawartha area, as well as of select areas where Trent University conducts research and field trips.

Most photos circulate for one week. Borrowing privileges are restricted to registered members of Trent University. In special cases, air photos will be loaned to other academic libraries through interlibrary loans.

Listed are inventories of our local area holdings. Visual indexes showing flight lines and picture number locations are found in the Map Library.
