Description

Published by the Société Internationale de Bibliographie Classique, L'Année philologique online includes 375,000 bibliographic records for the years 1969 to 2001, with 12,500 new records added each year. The index includes references to 1,500 journals in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish each year as well as 500 articles in collections and conference papers.

The records are classified in a two-part system: Ancient authors and texts, Subjects and disciplines.

Notes

To start searching, select one of the criteria in the top navigation bar. You can combine searches that use other criteria by using the "History file". E.g. the command Q1 AND Q2 combines the query one and two into one, more narrow, list of results.

Selecting "New Search" will clear the records "History file".

Words may be truncated by clicking the asterix * symbol on the right on the search box. E.g. gree* retrieves Greece, Greek etc.
