Description
|
Research articles in astronomy and astrophyics can be accessed using the NASA-funded Astrophysics Data System (ADS). This web database contains abstracts and links to over 4 million articles, including those in every high-impact international journal. It is straightforward to search the database by author, year, subject, keyword, etc. Your search can be limited to refereed journals, or even a single journal, if desired. Some of the articles listed in this abstract server are available through Trent (e.g., Science Magazine, Nature, Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society). Others require a subscription (e.g., The Astronomical Journal, The Astrophysical Journal, Astronomy and Astrophysics). Articles can usually be accessed in both .pdf format and in electronic (.html) format. The latter is particularly useful when searching for keywords within an article, or following citations to other articles. |
