Harriet PengelleyHarriet Brock Pengelley was born on January 27, [1812] and lived in Guernsey, Channel Islands. She was the daughter of the chief magistrate of the Isle of Guernsey, Daniel de Lisle Brock, and the niece of Sir Isaac Brock who was killed in the War of 1812 at the Battle of Queenston Heights, Upper Canada. She died less than a year after arriving in Canada.
