From our Exhibits Page you can learn about a nurse in World War 1, the engineer responsible for the design and construction of the Peterborough Lift Lock, pioneer women of the Peterborough area, the architect who designed the first Trent buildings, the advent of the Irish literary renaissance featuring William Butler Yeats and an influential member of the Family Compact.
You can see a brief history of photography up to 1920 which gives examples from our own photographic holdings.
